your employees&#8217; super guarantee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 1 July 2026 employers will need to pay employees their super guarantee on payday, at the same<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>time as their salary and wages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Super guarantee is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 calculated as 12% of qualifying earnings (QE), which is a new term that brings together ordinary time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>earnings (OTE) and other payments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 paid to an employee&#8217;s super fund on payday and received by the super fund within 7 business days<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(unless an extended timeframe applies, such small businesses with 19 or less employees to become single touch payroll compliant is now just two weeks away.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"dfp-ticker intuit-interscroller f2\">\n<div class=\"custom\">According to the ATO, there are 350,000 small businesses now reporting under STP, or just under 50 per cent of the estimated 750,000 small business population.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"b-module module_container b-module_padding_b prem-news-tile\">\n<div class=\"dfp\" data-view=\"article 13527\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1509408108510-0\">The ATO Assistant Commissioner said it was important for employers to understand the range of concessions or deferrals available to them if they are not ready to report by 30 September.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span
